A respondent charged with an offense may be automatically eligible or may apply for diversion through the District Attorney's office subject to approval by the court. Diversion shall be monitored by Court Services If diversion is granted and successfully completed, the complaint will be dismissed. If diversion is denied or the respondent fails to successfully complete the diversion agreement, the complaint shall be subject to resolution in the ordinary course of practice or procedures within the Kansas Juvenile Justice Code.
