Honorable Teresa L. Watson

Judge Teresa L. Watson was appointed to the bench in 2014. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Court’s Civil Department. Prior to her appointment, Judge Watson practiced law for 20 years. She was a litigation attorney in private practice and served as a research attorney for the Kansas Court of Appeals and the Kansas Supreme Court. She is a past president of the Topeka Bar Association. She graduated from Washburn University with a degree in Political Science and Washburn Law School.
